We sell a Bed & Breakfast with a small restaurant, minigolf- and pit-pat anlage(billiard-mini golf) on a large plot of land on the little river Werra. Located in the fairytale half-timbered village of Altenburschla ( 2x voted Germany’s most beautiful village) on the border of Hesse and Thuringia, the former East Germany.
This is a historic half-timbered house, built around 1700 and almost completely renovated in recent years.
The village is located in a quiet area at a junction of hiking-biking and canoeing routes. Despite the quiet location, all major amenities are nearby, such as stores, schools, hospital etc.
The small village has more than 6,000 overnight stays per year and there are several vacation homes.
Furthermore, it is centrally located between larger cities such as Mühlhausen, Eschwege, Göttingen and Kassel, where there is plenty of culture to enjoy.
